Robotics Competition Training: Certificate Programme (4-16 years old)

We customise training to suit students needs.

STEAM Engine by Duck Learning provides training for students to compete both locally and globally. We specialise in providing high quality robotics and coding competition training catered for our partner competitions such as FIRST® LEGO® League, National Robotics Games and Global Robotics Games.

Competition Training Seasons

FIRST® LEGO® League

  • Date: November - March
  • Competition Venue: Canadian International School Lakeside Campus
  • Duration: Approximately 45 hours (15 - 18 sessions)

National Robotics Games 

  • Date: June - September
  • Competition Venue: Science Centre Singapore
  • Duration: Approximately 45 hours (15 - 18 sessions)

Global Robotics Games

  • Date: September - November
  • Competition Venue: Science Centre Singapore

FIRST® LEGO® League Competition Training

Participate in creative problem-solving, coding, and engineering during the FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge Robotics Bootcamp. Build and program your robot with LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Prime or LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 sets. Dive into exhilarating missions, navigate a captivating robot game, and cultivate crucial STEM skills. Ideal for beginners, with step-by-step guidance and hands-on experiences for students. Enjoy a low student-to-trainer ratio of 1:15.

National Robotics Games Competition Training

Unleash your child's potential in STEAM education with our comprehensive National Robotics Competition (NRC) competition training. We offer specialised NRC programs tailored to different age groups, from preschoolers aged 5 to 6 using KUBO, lower primary students aged 7 to 9 exploring SPIKE Essential and WeDo 2.0, upper primary learners aged 9 to 12 working with SPIKE Prime and EV3, to secondary students aged 12 to 17 mastering robotics with SPIKE Prime and EV3. Additionally, our NRC AI Maker Series introduces artificial intelligence to primary (7 - 9 years old) and secondary students (12 - 17 years old) using Quarky. Prepare your child for the future as they delve into the world of robotics, problem-solving, and STEAM excellence.

  • NRC AI Maker Series
    • Primary: 7-12 years old

  • Acquire technical skills in robot building, coding, and programming using age-appropriate platforms such as SPIKE, EV3, WeDo, and Quarky.
  • Enhance critical thinking skills by solving complex challenges and real-world problems using robotics and AI technologies.
  • Develop effective problem-solving abilities through hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming robots.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration, vital skills for success, through group projects and friendly competition.
